The experienced German shot-stopper finds himself as third-choice at Barça following the coach Hansi Flick. After fallen out of favour and undergone an operation, a January exit looks highly likely. This highly-touted Dutch midfielder has earned parallels to a Belgian superstar for his playing style. After starring at the U19 Euros, Smit has become a regular in the AZ Alkmaar first team. This 19-year-old is widely expected to complete a big-money transfer in January.
